“Night! I’ll be right back, but for now, I’m home!”

After the exchange with Sawada-sensei and the others, I moved to a quiet area and used my teleport magic to return to my home. I’ll have to be careful when I return to the other side again, but first, I’ll have to prepare Night’s food.

I cooked over there as well, but when I returned, I started cooking to prepare Night’s meal. Of course, it’s not survival, so I’m cooking with proper ingredients. When I served the finished meal using ingredients from another world as well, he ate it with great relish.

When we parted from Kaede and Rin, we moved to the men’s bath, and many boys were already in there. Even though it’s not physically problematic, I feel like taking a bath and relaxing, so Akira and I hurriedly take off our clothes as well…

I gave a wry smile at Akira’s words. But the hot spring is really large, and there’s enough space for all of us boys to enter at once. As I looked around the hot spring with admiration, I saw Ryo and Shingo-kun.

“T-this is the first time we have talked today.”

“Yo, how’s it going on your side?”

Ryo and Shingo-kun gave a wry smile at Akira’s words.

“Well, I’ve done some camping before, but I’ve never done any local procurement or anything up to food, so it’s a lot of work.”

“B-both Ryo-kun and I can do the cooking, so it’s not a problem. It’s just that it’s generally hard work.”

When Kaede spoke in an enthralling manner, the surrounding female students raised their voices in envy.

“Sigh… I’m already jealous of you for just being in the same group with Tenjou-kun, but to be able to eat even his home-made cooking…”

“It’s kind of like we’re living in a comic book when there are so many amazing people around!”

“Oh, I can understand that!”

After that, the atmosphere was different from that of Yuuya and the others, and the girls were able to spend a leisurely time talking about the school, the boys, and tomorrow’s events, just like in the girls-only gathering.

      4. if you look at Kaede on vol 1 illustration, you can see her hair is very similar with Rin in this illustration. I don’t know why, but it seems the illustrator is forgot about that braid in this illustration.

    One question i am wondering about since the door’s function was introduced!!
    WILL YUUYA TAKE ANY OF HIS FRIENDS FROM EARTH TO ANOTHER WORLD!??

    Since the door has function to only allow the person who will have permission from yuuya! It will be awesome to have his party from Earth to isekai!!!! Hoping to see it.

      1. based on this past chapter or 2 I think I know what the luck stat does now other than item drops. (Lucky Pervert!!) also I’m positive if he doesn’t bring kaori to the isekai world then he’s going to end up bringing the princess to the real world and cause more jealousy from kaori and others.

  31. For people starved for more good isekai, some of my favourite novels:

    Death March – 30 year old programmer wakes up in an isekai world after taking a power nap during a 72 hour game coding death march, so he decides to take it slow while touring the would with a group of girls he rescued along the way, supported but a ton of gold and super high level. One of the most popular novels of the genre (WN completed with 17 volumes, LN currently at 20 volumes, 11 in English, out of probably 30+, 1 anime season), so it got a lot of criticism out of sheer exposure. Personally I considered it brilliantly well written, a great example of an OP MC isekai story done right, as well as one of my favourite novels of all time. The MC can one hit most enemies, but he’s smart enough to not flaunt his powers around. The author does a great job of using his OP’ness for comedic effect. It’s worthy to note that the LN is a completely revised version of the story, so you might want to start with the WN version available online in full (the first few chapter have some poor English, the guy was still learning).

    Isekai wa Smartphone – A teenager struck by a god’s lightning gets to reincarnate in an isekai world with a smartphone he chose as his super power (he also got a general power up). Pretty chill story, he adventures around with an ever growing harem of teenage fiances, currently at 21 volumes, 20 in English, and one anime season, a nice chill read for a rainy day.

    Lazy Dungeon Master – A guy chosen by a god to govern a dungeon, uses his wits and a general power boost to expand his dungeon and win dungeon battles, all in order to finally have some time to take a nap. Good story, writing and world building. I recommend the WN version, LN adds a lot of pointless sexualization. There’s a manga adaptation, but they skip like 90% of the novel, no idea why.

    Growth Cheat (aka. I’ve Became Able to Do Anything with My Growth Cheat, but I Can’t Seem to Get out of Being Jobless) – Because of a lazy goddess who didn’t bother to check the MC get isekai’d with a double exponentially stacking bonus of x20 Xp, as a result discovers a multi class cheat and travels around with a pair of cute girls he bought out of slavery. Great story, writing, world building, etc. Plus the main heroine is stupidly cute in the manga adaptation.

    Otoko Nara Ikkokuichijou no Aruji o Mezasa Nakya, ne? – A group of 40 Japanese people who died in a train/bus crash reincarnates in an isekai world scattered throughout the region with various cheat abilities. The MC, a second son of a landed knight, grows up in a village before deciding to go to a nearby dungeon town, get a lot of riches and ultimately found his own kingdom, while gathering other reincarnated people along the way. Another one of my favourites, currently there are two volumes in English, a shorter one about the MC’s childhood and a longer one about his dungeon conquest. If you’re looking for a story about a dungeon conquest, you can’t do much better that this one.

    Hisshou Dungeon Unei Houhou – Isekai MC goes full harem 🙂 Good story, fun read, there’s a manga adaptation.

    Blessing from the Goddess and Transfer to Another World – MC isekai’d with his entire school gets thrown out of the castle along with a girl from another class because they didn’t get powers from the Goddess. As it turns out they already had other, way more powerful cheats, so they decide to leave the country and travel around the world while gathering more party members. Great read, also one of my favourites.

    The Strongest Guild Master Founded a Nation in a Week – A guy isekai’s into the world of an MMO game, steam rolls over the continent using his castle of 200 max level now alive in-game characters.

    The New Gate – MC trapped in a VRMMO based death game, solo defeats the final boss, but instead of leaving the game, he gets transferred into a world based on the game, 500 years after the events of the death game. Great writing, really good read, there’s a manga adaptation.

    Elaborating…the [Abnormal State Skill] refers to affect a target with conditions like poison,sleep,paralyzed etc…on itself inefficient if not outright weak…that’s until in order to survive a truly hellish dungeon in which his banished to he have to use it them to full capacity.
    While slightly resembling the beginning of the notorious Arifureta there’s not cringing over the top edegeness,no pink space harem moments ( though there’s quite strong romance/ sexual tension between the MC and at least three of his female teammates.)
    Also while his skills become stronger and more efficient,the MC is in no exactly OP since many of them require certain conditions and set up and some of them require to be used in combination to be fully effective.
