Side Story 3 – The Heroes Part 2

 

They were exactly like the opposite sides of a coin. Benny was petite and born in a slum. In contrast, Ruby has a feminine body and is noble by birth. She’s also the third daughter of a duke family.

The two of them stared at each other, and then Ruby turned away with a huff.

“I mean, in the first place, you have three, and we only have the two of us. This match has no meaning!”

“You confirmed it in the beginning! Didn’t you say I could borrow Nina from you?”

“I told you I didn’t want it! Nina is just too scared to do anything with me!”

Nina had tears in the corners of her eyes. Nina’s family is a noble family of a viscount. She knew Ruby well and understood that she was someone who she could never behave rudely with.

As a hero, there was no difference in position between them, but for Nina, who was being taught that from an early age, Ruby was not someone she could ever interfere with.

After patting Nina’s head like that, Tilfa came between Benny and Ruby.

“Well, that’s enough. We’re heroes, so we don’t have to fight like this.”

“Yes, of course. I get along with everyone except Benny.”

“What, did, you, sayyy…!” Benny swings her arms around, and Tilfa holds her body down with a wry smile. Benny’s face turns redder and redder as Ruby crosses her arms triumphantly and shows off her breasts.

When Tilfa said that, Benny nodded her head in a way that seemed to calm her down a bit. After that, their quarrel calmed down for a while, and the five of them lined up and headed to the guild in the school.

And at that time. Nina was the first to notice the guild staff who had been watching their quarrel. Nina glanced at the guild staff. The guild staff was looking at Nina as if she was asking for help.

Nina also seemed to understand the staff member’s feelings painfully. And then she unusually intervened between them.

Ruby chuckled at Benny, who had a twinkle in her eyes.

“It’s so stupid of you to decide without knowing the details of the request.”

“Shut up.”

After receiving the request form, Ruby raised her eyebrows. Lynn glanced at the request form, but there were no difficult words used. It was just that Ruby was the dumbest among all of them. [T/n: so the duke’s daughter is dumbest, huh.]

“Tilfa, what is this request about?”

Nina and Lynn also shook their heads.

“I’m worried. Are you sure you’re ready to represent the heroes?”

“I’m sure I can do better than you as a representative.”

The two of them stared at each other, and then Tilfa stopped Ruby while Lynn was holding Benny in the back.

Lynn tilted her head while saying that, and then the staff member nodded his head.

“Please leave it to me.”

“Well, then, we’ll go home.”

“Yeah, see you later.”

Ruby is carried away by Tilfa while Lynn did the same with Benny.
