Chapter 121 – Day 13 of the Strategy Life
We had a luxurious breakfast in the demonic land, consisting of fried eggs and bread with eggs, and prepared to head north. As usual, Chel and I wore our coats. The leather on the coats was getting softer, so it wasn’t so hard to move around in them.
As we were blowing the Guardian Spider to the west and east, Lipa came flying over on his broom.
“Is something wrong?”
I asked Lipa, who had landed in front of me.
“No, Hel-san was communicating with some kind of monster spirit and told me to go see what Makyo-san and the others were doing. What are they doing? Are they leveling up or something?”
“Ah, it’s not like that. You see, if we go into the giant magical beast and mess with it, the giant magical beast’s stride might change, right? So we’re going to push the monsters out of the way.”

Jennifer was right, and after that, we could no longer see the monsters that had taken refuge between the footprints of the giant magical beast.
It seems that the monsters that were hiding in the caves and the giant bones are also starting to move.
The giant monkey and giant bear monsters looked at us and threatened us, but when we looked at them without hostility, they chased away the smaller monsters and ran away.
Of course, the monsters that came toward us were sent flying east without question.
We took a break to eat lunch in the footprints of the giant magical beast. I’m not moving, but I’m sweating, so I’ll wash my inner clothes as well.

The succulent plants had grown taller than a person and were spreading their leaves. I could hear a muffled frog croaking from the base of the plants. As usual, the plants in the demonic land seemed to be carnivorous.
I went back to the well and read P.J.’s notebook by the light of the magic stone lantern. I’ve already memorized most of it, but I checked the entrances to the ruins that I hadn’t discovered yet. I had to be careful because the time axis might change if it was a dungeon.
“Don’t get tired before you enter the giant magical beast.”
While saying this, Chel brought us some hard bread and tea.
“I thought I’d do as much as I could and then regret it. Wouldn’t it be harder if I did nothing and came back with nothing?”
“Maybe.”
The bread is probably good for preserving, but it doesn’t taste very good.
