Well, that concludes volume one of the Iseleve side story, Kaori’s Story. I hope you enjoyed it! See you in the next volume. Cheers!
Here’s the afterword~
Afterword
Hello, this is Ryo Kotohira.
Thank you for picking up this book.
This is the second spin-off of Miku-sensei’s “I Got Cheat Abilities in a Different World and Became Extraordinary Even in the Real World: ~Leveling Up Changed My Life~.”
In the previous book, I had the honor of writing the story of Lexia and Luna from another world in “Girls’ Side: The Beautiful Maidens’ Adventure That Changed the World.” I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to write this new spin-off, “The Legend of Kaori Houjou: The Innocent Young Lady Who Secretly Saved the World.”
This time, the story centers on Kaori, a heroine from the real world who becomes a magical girl and embarks on a grand adventure. I’m as excited as anyone else to see how it all unfolds!
The story focuses on Kaori, who is kind, delicate, pure, and a bit clumsy. It also features characters like Noah, an extremely poor magical girl, and Sumimaru, a squid-shaped fairy. This makes for a lively story.
Some other popular characters from the original series will also make an appearance. I hope you enjoy it!
Without further ado, I would like to move on to the acknowledgments.
First, to the original author, Miku-sensei. Thank you for supervising this project despite your busy schedule. When we first met at a web conference, you smiled gently and told me, “Enjoy writing.” Those words and your kind expression still support me today.
Thank you to my editor for being so kind to me. Thank you for giving me this wonderful opportunity. I am sorry for always relying on you so much. I will continue to do my best, so please continue to support me.
To Reon Kuwashima-sensei, who always creates illustrations beyond my imagination: Kaori’s magical girl costume is, of course, adorable, but Noah and Sumimaru are cute, too, and they came to life in my mind even more vividly. Thank you very much.
Thank you to everyone in the editorial department, the proofreaders, the designers, the printing company, the bookstores, and everyone else involved in this book.
And, most importantly, to those reading this afterword right now,
Thank you so much.
If you enjoyed it at all, there is no greater joy for us.
