Chapter 2 – Ryota’s Introduction

A few days later, Wataru was able to meet up with Ryota Endo again.

Ryota had fully recovered from his injury and was rapidly improving his performance in the pennant race.

He was in a good mood as he had no problem signing a contract for the next season.

People in the industry began to wonder what had happened in the past month.

Ryota was in a good mood when he agreed to meet Wataru again, probably because he felt grateful to him.

The reason why Wataru asked Ryota was partly because he didn’t have any other contacts but also because he thought that Ryota wouldn’t do anything terrible to him.

He was a person who valued his commitments.

He wasn’t afraid of being betrayed by the relationship of trust.

When they came out of the bathroom and returned to their private room, the delicious smell of Chinese food immediately filled their nostrils.

The lunch menu they had ordered was steaming.

As they had been told earlier, Mariel and Aire were already eating.

“Sorry, we kept you waiting.”

“No, we were enjoying the food before you arrived.”

“Master, this is really delicious! It’s so good!”

“(The way she smiles innocently is so healing.)”

As expected, Ryota also stopped fooling around in front of other people and began to eat calmly.

The way he switched between public and private was brilliant.
